- Your data is de-identified following HIPAA Safe Harbor standards
- You can stop sharing at any time, though data already used in a study can't always be withdrawn
- Partners never receive identifiable information
- There is no additional cost — participation is voluntary

How do you make money if it's free?
FlarePath is self-funded, and we are exploring research grants with clinical partners. In the future, partners may include research institutions and companies developing treatments. They never receive identifiable information, and they only receive de-identified data from families who opt in.
Do I have to participate in research?
No. Research sharing will always be a separate, opt-in choice, and the app works fully without it. You can stop sharing at any time, though data already used in a study can't always be withdrawn.
Is my data safe?
