Know the pattern.
Walk in prepared.
FlarePath helps people and families living with CNO/CRMO turn everyday check-ins into a clear, structured record they can bring to appointments. Built from CRMO Care and designed to support additional conditions over time. Free during beta.

How it works
Check in on your schedule. A clear picture by the visit.
Log the day
A guided CNO check-in records symptoms, affected locations, treatment events and optional context in a structured format. Speak it or tap it.
See the pattern
Medication timelines and Apple Health vitals land on one timeline, with trend summaries over any date range you choose.
Hand it over
Export a clinical PDF that matches the in-app view, and bring questions generated from your recent trends.

Safety
FlarePath does not monitor entries. If you or your child needs urgent care, contact your care team or call 911.
Why it matters
Your doctor needs data, not just notes.
Generic tracking apps hand back free text. Specialists work best with structured data: pain location, PROMIS scores and medication timelines, organized so they can review it quickly in a short appointment.
What goes in the report
- Pain by body site, and overnight pain
- Pain and symptom trends over time
- Current medications and doses
- Fever, sleep hours and triggers
- Weekly PROMIS pain and mobility scores
- Steps, heart rate and walking pattern from Apple Health
Shaped by feedback from pediatric rheumatologists.
Features
Everything between the visits.
Structured symptom tracking
A guided CNO check-in records symptoms, affected locations, treatment events and optional context in a structured format built for clinical review.
Visit-ready reports
One-page summaries formatted for specialist appointments. Trends and medications at a glance, with a matching clinical PDF.
Voice to structured data
Speak naturally and the app extracts the clinically relevant details. “My knee hurts” becomes a pain location and a time, and the app asks how bad it is. You review every entry before it's saved.
Visit Companion
With everyone's permission, Visit Companion records the appointment and drafts a summary and follow-up questions for you to review. Audio is deleted after processing.
Apple Health integration
With your permission, compatible data from Apple Health, such as steps, heart rate, HRV, sleep and walking steadiness, appears alongside your check-ins. What's available depends on your devices.
Family and team access
Track your own days or manage several patients from one account. Share access with a partner, co-parent, specialist or school nurse.
Who it's for
Starting with CNO/CRMO.
FlarePath began as CRMO Care, built with families affected by chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis. The current beta remains focused on CNO/CRMO. We are exploring how the same approach could eventually support JIA, periodic-fever syndromes and chronic pain, but those condition-specific experiences are not yet available.
CNO/CRMO
Chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis (CNO). CRMO is a common name for it, especially when it recurs in several places.
Roadmap
Future conditions we're exploring.
These condition-specific experiences are not yet available. The same approach may eventually support them.
See resources by conditionJIA
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis, including systemic JIA.
Periodic fevers
Periodic fever syndromes, including PFAPA and other autoinflammatory fever conditions.
Chronic pain
Persistent pain, including pain alongside a rheumatic diagnosis and juvenile fibromyalgia.
The data gap
CNO still has no approved treatment.
Care for CNO relies on off-label medicines, expert consensus and limited comparative evidence. Better real-world data is one way that changes, and it starts with families keeping a clear record.
CNO/CRMO, the case we can already count
- 0
- FDA-approved treatments specifically for CNO/CRMO
Contribute to research, on your terms
Research sharing isn't live yet. When it is, it will be a separate opt-in with its own consent, and nothing is shared for research without it.
Privacy and security
Built to protect sensitive health information.
FlarePath uses encryption, access controls and privacy-focused infrastructure to protect the information families record.

Why is CRMO Care now called FlarePath?
CRMO Care was built specifically for one community. We chose the name FlarePath because CNO is known by several names and because the platform may eventually support other conditions. The current beta remains focused on CNO/CRMO. Existing accounts and data carry over with nothing to re-enter.
Who is FlarePath for?
People and families living with CNO/CRMO, plus the parents, partners and care teams who share the days. Partners, co-parents, specialists and school nurses can each be given their own access.
Is it only for CNO/CRMO?
The current beta is. FlarePath began as CRMO Care, built with CNO families. We are exploring how the same approach could eventually support JIA, periodic-fever syndromes and chronic pain, but those condition-specific experiences are not yet available.
Do I have to share data with researchers?
No. Research sharing will always be a separate, opt-in choice, and the app works fully without it. You can stop sharing at any time, though data already used in a study can't always be withdrawn.
Is it really free?
Yes, for patients and families. FlarePath is self-funded, and we are exploring research grants with clinical partners. In the future, partners may include research institutions and companies developing treatments. They never receive identifiable information, and they only receive de-identified data from families who opt in.
Does anyone monitor my entries?
FlarePath does not monitor entries. If you or your child needs urgent care, contact your care team or call 911. Check-ins stay in the app until you share them. Nothing is sent to your clinician between visits.
Chronic doesn’t have to mean unknowable.
